陽に染まる渡月橋、自然が織りなす日本の原風景のよう。　 The Togetsukyo bridge, which is dyed in the sun, is like the original scenery of Japan woven by nature.

京都、嵐山の顔と言えば桂川にかかる「渡月橋」。国内外からの京都観光では外せない場所だ。知らない人はいないくらいの有名な場所である。四季折々に山と清流と橋が織りなす眺めは水墨画のよう、と訪れる人の心に刻み込まれる。

Speaking of Kyoto and Arashiyama, Togetsukyo bridge over the Katsura River. It is a place that cannot be missed when visiting Kyoto from inside and outside Japan. It's a famous place that no one knows. The view of the mountain, the clear stream and the bridge weaving in every season is engraved in the heart of the visitor, like an ink painting.

渡月橋は一見、木橋のように見えるが、実は鉄筋コンクリート造りの橋である。外見上は、江戸時代の趣を保存するこだわりがあって、杭はコンクリートで桁は鉄鋼の橋になっている。桁隠しや高欄は木造様式が取り入れられている。

At first glance, Togetsukyo Bridge looks like a wooden bridge, but it is actually a reinforced concrete bridge. From the outside, there is a commitment to preserve the taste of the Edo period, with the piles being concrete and the girders being steel bridges. The wooden style is adopted for the girders and balustrades.

2年前の8月に、海外からの友人と嵐山を訪れる機会があった。何度も訪れた経験があっても、この歳で見る風景、そして四季折々でみる景観はその都度違う。それぞれの美しさを見せてくれる。その時は、暗雲立ち込める中で、夕陽に染まる渡月橋だった。

Two years ago, in August, I had the opportunity to visit Arashiyama with a friend from abroad. Even if I have visited many times, the scenery I see at this age and the scenery I see in each season is different. Shows each beauty. At that time, it was Togetsukyo Bridge, which was colored by the setting sun while the dark clouds were standing up.

嵐山に行けば、必ず立ち寄るスポットがある。それは、日本庭園の美しさが際立つ「天龍寺」。書院から眺める、嵐山を借景に広がる景観は自然姿と人間の工夫から生み出された絶妙なものに思える。

If you go to Arashiyama, there are always spots to drop by. It is "Tenryu-ji" where the beauty of the Japanese garden stands out. From the Shoin, the landscape of Arashiyama overlooking the scenery seems exquisite due to the natural appearance and human ingenuity.

それは、緑が輝き、風の声や空気の響きあう音が聞こえてくる。差し込む光の振動が響いているかのよう。色と風と光がハーモニーを奏でているかのようだ。

It is shining green, and you can hear the sounds of the wind and the air. As if the vibration of the light coming in reverberates. It's as if the colors, the wind, and the light play harmony.
