現在、武術、武道、柔道は世界のスポーツとして認知されている。
その中でも空手道や柔道は日本で生まれ日本で育ち、そして海外へ渡った。
多くの指導者が、世界にその流儀や技を伝え広めていった。
その一人が武道家の南部義尚氏。半世紀以上前にフランスに新天地を求めた。

Many karateka have spread the style and techniques to the world. One of them is Mr. Yoshihisa Nanbu. More than half a century ago, he sought a new world in France.

南部氏は年月を経て全世界南武道連盟の創設し、
ヨーロッパを中心に南武道王国を築いた。
その南部氏は昨年、弟子や南武道家たちに惜しまれながら、
77歳で天国に召され武道人生を終えた。

大学卒業と同時に渡仏し55年。
空手道の師範として指導、
後に自身が創造し立ち上げた「南武道」。
世界に多くのファンを持つ南武道をけん引してきた。

It has been 55 years since he moved to France at the same time as he graduated from university. He teaches as a karate master, He later created and launched "Nanbudo". He has been a leader in Nanbudo, which has many fans around the world. 

南武道の確固たる流儀を、
各国の弟子に伝え育ててきた。
その中でも、写真にあるように道主が
心より信頼していた、クロアチア共和国の
Leo Rafolt(レオ・ラフォルト)氏は
特別の存在だったようだ。

子弟の関係は見てのとおりであるが、
親が子を慈しみ、育てるような愛情をもって接してきた。
Leo氏は師匠の全てを受け継ぎ、
南武道の普及に人生をかけ、いまは南部道主に代わり
各国への指導普及に尽力している。
