春の萌し、命あるモノのはじまり Signs of spring, the beginning of living things

2月に入った。明日は節分。鬼を追い払って新年を迎える。そして翌日が一年の始まりの立春になる。しかし、まだまだ寒い日が続くようだ。

寒い中でも、大地の中では春への準備が整いつつある。命の循環のスタートである。
晩冬から春にかけエネルギーを蓄え新しい命としてスタートする花。芽吹き花を咲かせはじめる。

その代表的な花である蝋梅や梅、そして春椿などの美しさは見事であるが、草花の美しさを代表する「水仙」は水辺に白や黄の花を咲かせ、凛とした清らかさが春の風情によくあう。
個人的に大好きな草花の一つである待雪草(スノードロップ)は、大地の中から芽を出し下向きに花を咲かせる。その表情にはなんと逞しさが見えてくる。

少しずつではあるが、春の萌しを感じる。命あるモノのはじまりである。

It's February. Tomorrow is Setsubun. Drive away the demons and welcome the new year. And the next day is the beginning of the year. However, it seems that the cold days will continue.

Even in the cold, the earth is getting ready for spring. It is the start of the cycle of life. A flower that stores energy from late winter to spring and starts as a new life. The buds begin to bloom.

The beauty of the typical flowers such as Japanese allspice, plum, and spring camellia is wonderful, but the "narcissus", which represents the beauty of flowers, has white and yellow flowers on the water's edge, giving it a dignified cleanliness. It goes well with the spring atmosphere.
One of my personal favorite flowers, snowdrops, sprout from the ground and bloom downwards. You can see how strong it is in that expression.

Little by little, I feel the sprouting of spring. It is the beginning of a living thing.
