昨年夏にお声掛けいただきチャレンジした共著論文が採択され、公開されました！

評価における「エビデンス」の考察 ～信頼性と活用可能性を巡る議論を中心に～

今田克司さんと中谷美南子さんとの共著論文(総説)。

最初のコンセプトから、書き上げるまでの連係プレーが本当に素晴らしくて、楽しかった思い出しかありません！

でも、書いた内容は真剣そのもの。

実は、これまで評価に関する論文は5－6本書いてきましたが、すべて英語で書いてきました。今回は、エビデンスと評価の関係、その奥にある（ないといけないと思っている）哲学とエビデンスの「質」について、しっかり取り組んで、私なりに初めて日本語でしっかり言語化できた論文です。

熱入りすぎて、割り当てられたページ数をオーバーし、16ページの大作です。

さらに、今回の特集は、すべての論文に対して、他の専門家からコメントを頂いて、さらにそのコメントに対する回答をする、交換書簡のような対話形式になっています。

言いっぱなし、書きっぱなしで主張するのではなく、この議論が他の分野の専門家にどう映るのか？どんな受け止め方をされるのか？それに対して、建設的な対話をしていこう！という意図を反映した特集号になっています。

J-Stageで一般に公開されるのは数か月後になりますが、ぜひ読んでいただけますと嬉しいです。

I’m thrilled to announce that an article I worked on with two authors has been accepted and published in an evaluation journal.

Title: Reconsideration of Contemporary Debates Around Evidence: Including Credibility and Actionability As Key ConceptsJapanese Journal of Evaluation Studies, Vol. 24, No. 1 March 2024

This co-authored paper is a joint effort with Mr. Katsuji Imata and Ms. Minako Nakatani. Our teamwork was remarkable from the initial concept to the final draft, and I enjoyed every step!

I’ve written 5-6 evaluation-related papers, but they were all in English. This time, I delved into the topic I am deeply interested in—the relationship between evidence and evaluation, the underlying philosophy behind evidence, and the “quality” of evidence. For the first time, I could express my ideas thoroughly in Japanese.

This Special Issue on Evidence is unique - it takes the form of an exchange of letters. For each of the main papers included, comments are solicited from other experts, and further responses to those comments are provided.

Typically, scholarly articles are written to present one’s own opinions in a well-reasoned and persuasive manner. However, this special issue diverges from the usual approach. Rather than making absolute claims without room for discussion, the authors intend to engage in constructive dialogues. They seek to explore how their arguments resonate with experts from other fields and how these viewpoints are received. In essence, this special issue aims to foster meaningful conversations.

All articles will be publicly available on J-Stage in a few months, and I would be delighted if you could read them and provide us with some feedback. I will make an announcement when it’s officially released.
