Think backward - Jan. 5, 2024.

You are indeed an impressive and respected senior. You set clear goals and plan your actions in reverse order from them, adhering to your plan. This approach brings you confidence, as evident in your statement, "I moved departments smoothly because I had planned it." Your strategic thinking and commitment are truly remarkable.

Yesterday, I went to a sauna with my respected senior and had an extensive discussion. I was feeling anxious about starting work this April, but the conversation helped ease my worries. The most impactful lesson I learned from my senior is the importance of developing skills to choose what I truly want to do when opportunities present themselves. To achieve this, it's not just about specializing in one area but expanding my options without limiting my potential. Planning my actions by working backward from the goal of broadening my choices seems like a smart strategy. Life is unpredictable, and goals may change daily. Having a variety of options enables me to adapt to these changes. Although uncertainties remain, my primary objective in my first year of working is to expand my range of choices. I plan to strategize my actions, starting from this goal and working backward to ensure I am on the correct path.

I am truly grateful to have a senior whom I can always turn to for advice. Even though we will see each other less from April, I hope to stay connected through regular postcards or messages on LINE. Thank you always for your guidance and support!
