New Personal Record!! - Dec. 27, 2023.
Breaking news! The TOEIC scores for December 10th are out, and I've set a new personal record! I scored 865, surpassing my previous score of 825 from last February. Although I aimed for 900 and didn't quite reach it, these past 10 months have seen significant improvement in my English reading and listening skills. I feel more confident in myself now.
A couple of weeks ago, I wrote about how achieving high scores on English tests boosts my self-confidence. I still believe this to be true, so I'm determined to continue working towards my next goals. On a different note, I recently bought a book to improve my English writing. After translating my thesis into English, I realized the vast difference between Japanese-style English and native-like English. This book is guiding me toward systematic learning.
