Lots of guidelines for my life I found in Brussels
During my travel to Brussels, I felt, learned and thought about various things. Mainly, it is about "money".
Despite very high commodity prices and difficulty in communicating with French and Dutch speakers, I had a very nice experience in Brussels. I would like to live and work there. Also, my stays in Brussels strongly made me motivated to study for 3 years in Sweden.
No penny, no pardon.
I hated this word a lot. It is because this way of thinking makes me boring. It's about the way of living only for earning money until they die by following the template they have.
I also disliked to save money. Looking for the cheapest price at a restaurant or cafe, and trying to buy discounted food in the supermarket made me uncomfortable, even though I do understand I should do that living as a student.
However, my mind changed about these things. I decided to focus on how can I be happier by spending for what, not on just trying to save money.
For example, I can be happier to travel, but in details, any kinds of flight makes me nothing. Thus I chose cheapest and longer flight with one transit. Instead, I ate what I want to try in Brussels. In short, I decided to use money distinctively.
Cost for experiences should be paid. When I went to Noosa, Australia, I was partly sured to be able to live outside of Japan, successfully thrown away my bad pride and got the feeling of try and error, and noticed that I had uncountable stereotypes as a Japanese. I can learn a lot of things by traveling other countries. Therefore, I want to learn more by visiting more countries. The cost for seeing the world is the self invention.
We cannot live without money.
I mistakenly understood this sentence that we have to do what we do not want to for our basic earning. I will interpret more interesting way like this: We need money to find and enjoy what makes us feel "We are living a life".
As we live under the constitution and social welfare, we can survive without relatives and jobs.
This means, our life is not for earning money. It is for making ourselves "living" by choosing what to do, environment we live, and we should spend time and money for it.
I deeply appreciate my parents who allowed me to study in Sweden for more than 3 years. I definitely find what makes me feel I'm living!!!.
On February, in high latitude country, the sun time is very short. Instead, it is very long in Summer. I cannot wait to experience Swedish summer. Until then, I will do my best to find the light to makes my life brighter. It might be the travel to other European countries!
