When the smell of the wind
started to change,

A lonely philosopher
cried like a fallen leaf.

Bats flying under the deep sea
will never know of the dazzling world
laid out beyond the surface of the water.

If I can be reborn
in the afterlife,
I want to be a pebble, a nameless pebble ……
Spending time quietly
without a claim.

風のにおいが　
変わり始めたころ

孤独な哲学者が　ひとり
枯葉のように泣いた

深海を飛び回る
コウモリたちは
水面の先に広がる　
まばゆい世界など
知るはずもない

もしも来世で
生まれ変われるなら
小石になりたい
ひとつの主張もなく
静かに時を　やり過ごす
名もなき小石に……

風のにおいが　
変わり始めたころ

孤独な旅人が　ひとり
枯葉のような
涙のかけらを　
拾った
