ここ数年、蒸溜所名が明記されていない『シングルモルト』や『ほぼシングルモルト』のリリースがとても増えましたね！
そう、ウイスキーの話です。

業界の人であれば「そうだね！」、余り興味の無い方にとっては「は？　なんで？」と反応が真っ二つになるトピックな訳です。

「いやいや、知ってるよ？シングルモルトって、一つの蒸溜所だけのモルト100％のウイスキーのことでしょ？」
「別のブランド名で出したかったから、そうしただけじゃ無いの？」
といった声が聞こえてきそうですが、これはそもそもからの説明が無いと、分かったような分からないような曖昧な結果に陥りがちです。
どこの国のBarでも日常的に繰り広げられる話でもあります。
我が国においては、説明を受けるその人が、焼酎党・日本酒党・ワイン党なのかによって説明の仕方を変える必要があります。
むしろ、アルコール自体に興味がない人に対しての方が説明しやすかったりするのが面白いところだったりします。
いえ、この話を今回したかった訳ではありません。

現在休業中のBar Higuchiでは日夜(主に夜)デジタルメニューの編集を精力的に行っております。
今日は、“シークレット”として蒸溜所名が「公然とは明記されていないシングルモルト」のメニュー化を進めております。
現在の在庫69本をテイスティングして、スタッフ3人が心が赴くままに選んだ3本をご紹介。

It seems that you can hear such a voice, but without explanation from the beginning, it tends to fall into an ambiguous result that you do not understand.
It is also a story that can be unfolded everyday in any country Bar.
In Japan, it is necessary to change the method of explanation depending on whether the person receiving the explanation likes shochu, sake, or wine.
Rather, it is more interesting to explain to people who are not interested in alcohol itself.

Tasting the current 69 in stock, we will introduce 3 selected by the 3 staff as their minds go.
