｢今日のタスク｣という項目が、ノートなどに載るようになったのはいつ頃からだったでしょうか。
タスクとはコンピュータが処理するプログラムの処理単位のことですが、それが一般化され、
｢本日のやるべき課題(仕事)｣のような使われ方になり、｢マルチタスク｣や｢シングルタスク｣といった言葉も随分日常に浸透してきましたよね。
全ての仕事はマルチタスクが常に過剰気味に求められ、一方ではシングルタスクの意義も叫ばれる。過不足のないコミュニケーションが必須ですね！
そういえば、我々バーテンダーを含んで、対面接客する｢店｣の仕事は、マルチタスクの塊。
一つ一つの仕事のクオリティの担保は前提で、承認レベルが上がったお客さまそれぞれの満足が何よりの達成目標。
しかし、サービスの仕事には波と限界があるため、マルチにこなすには、それぞれの店独自の『世界観』と分かりやすい『キーワード』が必要。
ちなみに私は、『海』と『山』を使います。
長々と語ったのは、本日到着した2本のモルトウイスキーから。
ベンリアックとグレンドロナックという、同じオーナ会社ながらも大変対照的な、いわばマルチタスクとシングルタスクそれぞれを旨として、素晴らしいスコッチを生み出す蒸溜所。
｢海の情景｣でいえば、最も人の多い、砂浜や波打ち際に向けた商品で｢安くて美味くて、ちょっと面白い｣2本。
