日本のデフレ状態 Japan's Deflationary State

お金について、インフレとデフレについても私の考えを記述したい。

I would also like to describe my thoughts on money, inflation and deflation.

まず、日本のデフレ状態について、なぜ起きているのか私の意見を述べる。

First, I will give my opinion on the deflationary situation in Japan and why it is happening.

いろいろな要因が言われているが、将来に対する期待も原因だと考える。

Many factors have been mentioned, but I believe that expectations for the future are also a factor.

あなたは今車を買いたいと思っている。しかし、５年後、空飛ぶ車が市場に出てくることが分かった。あなたは車を買うだろうか？車を買わずに貯金して空飛ぶ車が登場する事に備えるのではないか。

You want to buy a car now. But then you find out that in five years, flying cars will be on the market. Will you buy a car? They may not buy a car, but save up and prepare for the arrival of flying cars.

最近の技術の進歩は目覚ましかったため、人々は賢くなった。今後１０年で激変する社会の変化に対応するために最も柔軟な手段として、金銭を確保したいと考えた結果、今日のデフレ状態になっているのではないだろうか。

Recent technological advances have been remarkable, and people have become smarter. I believe that today's deflationary situation is the result of the desire to secure money as the most flexible means of responding to the drastic changes in society that will occur over the next decade.

解決策は将来に対する安心を与えることだ。

The solution is to provide security for the future.

車の例でいえば、空飛ぶ車が出たら今の車と無償で交換しますよといった、月額でのサービス提供型が良いだろう。今車を買っておいても損はしないという確たる信用を得ることだと思う。

In the case of cars, it would be better to offer a monthly service, such as a free exchange of your current car when a flying car is released. It would be a good way to gain the trust of people who think that there is no harm in buying a car now.

今後も書きたいことが思いつけば追記していきたい。
