AIとの付き合い方：2024年5月8日（水）

　2023年1月13日から毎日，備忘録（日記ないしは日誌）のつもりで，ブログを継続して書き続けてきた。実は，日々のブログの核となる話の種は随分以前から，ある程度の蓄積があることを多少自負していた。

　文章を書くということは，ある意味で，写経をすることと共通点があるように考えており，自分のなかでは定まらない気持ちや感情，未整理の物事の論理展開を，文章に書くことによって必要なものと不必要なものとに取捨選択ができる。さらに，なぜ曖昧模糊としたものごとが解決できていない理由や，不足している情報や知恵が明確になることが多く，仮に，こうしたプロセスを一式，人工知能（AI）に任せてしまうようになると，人間は自己改革や自己の成長の駆動力をみずから手放すことになるのではないかと考えている。

　一方で，人工知能（AI）との付き合いは非常に大切だと日々実感している。学生にはAIとの付き合い方について，「AIを利用しよう。しかし，AIに利用されてはならない」と指導することにしている。これは，AIと付き合うということは，つねに手強いAIとの競争であり，非常に難しいということも覚悟する必要がある。

How to interact with AI：May 8th (Wednesday)

Since January 13, 2023, I have been continuing to write my blog every day, intending it as a memo (or rather a diary). In fact, I somewhat pride myself on the fact that the seeds of the daily blog content have been accumulating for quite some time.

In a sense, writing is similar to copying sutras; I believe there is a commonality. Through writing, one can discern between what is necessary and unnecessary by putting into words feelings and emotions that are not yet settled within oneself, as well as the logical development of unorganized matters. Furthermore, it often clarifies why ambiguous matters remain unresolved or reveals information and wisdom that is lacking. If, hypothetically, such a process were entirely delegated to artificial intelligence (AI), humans might relinquish the driving force behind self-reform and personal growth.

However, I am keenly aware of the importance of interacting with artificial intelligence (AI) on a daily basis. Regarding students' interaction with AI, I instruct them to "utilize AI, but do not be used by AI." This is because engaging with AI is always a competition with formidable AI, and one must be prepared for the difficulty it entails.
