政府はお米の流通在庫を調査して対処せよ：2024年8月20日（火）
日本の政治は，自民党の総裁選や立憲民主党の代表選を巡って躍起になっているが，今年の夏頃から顕著になっているお米の流通在庫の品薄に早急に対処すべきだ。
気候変動による線状降水帯の多発や，台風の進路の変化による局地的な大雨洪水の影響でお米の収穫減少が懸念される。地球温暖化による影響で高品質のブランド米の不作も騒がれている。これに大きく拍車を掛けたのが，8月8日に政府が発表した南海トラフ地震臨時情報（巨大地震注意）である。政府が国民に日頃の飲食品等について多めの備蓄を呼びかけたことなどを背景に，現在，街中のスーパーやネット販売では，お米の在庫切れが頻発している。
政府は，早急に日本のお米の流通在庫の実態を調査して，メディアを通じて，それらのデータを公表すべきだ。便乗の無用な買い溜めや，高価格での不当転売目的の買い占め行為を調査し，社会的な不安を惹起している悪質な行為者を徹底的に取り締まることが必要だ。
総裁選や代表選に躍起になっている隙に，国民生活の基盤が崩れてしまっては仕方があるまい。
Japanese government should investigate and address the distribution inventory of rice: August 20th(Tuesday), 2024
Japanese politics is currently preoccupied with the Liberal Democratic Party’s leadership election and the Constitutional Democratic Party’s representative election. However, the government must urgently address the shortage of rice distribution inventory, which has become increasingly evident since this summer.
Due to the frequent occurrence of linear rainbands and changes in typhoon paths, causing localized heavy rain and flooding, there are concerns about a decrease in rice harvests. The poor yield of high-quality branded rice, attributed to the effects of global warming, has also caused alarm. This situation was further exacerbated by the government's announcement on August 8 of an emergency alert regarding the Nankai Trough Earthquake (Major Earthquake Warning). Following the government's call for citizens to stockpile extra food and other daily necessities, shortages of rice are now frequent in supermarkets and online stores.
The government must promptly investigate the actual situation of Japan's rice distribution inventory and disclose this data to the public through the media. It is necessary to investigate and crack down on unnecessary bulk buying in response to the situation, as well as on hoarding with the intent of unfair resale at high prices, which is causing public anxiety.
If the foundation of citizens' lives crumbles while the government is absorbed in leadership and representative elections, it will be of no use.
