DNXのMBA Internship 2021説明会を開催します

DNX Venturesには、MBA生を対象とするサマーインターンシップの制度があります。
コロナの影響もあり、なかなか海外留学が難しい状況下ではありますが、DNXでは、今年もMBAの学生を対象にインターンシップの募集を行うことに致しました。

サマーアソシエイト

弊社のインターンシッププログラムでは、サマーアソシエイトとしてベンチャー投資に関わる業務に携わっていただくことで、ベンチャーキャピタルやベンチャー投資、スタートアップについて学ぶ機会を提供します。日本、米国オフィス何れかを拠点とし、12週間（最低８週間から相談可能）の間で、マーケットリサーチ、投資先支援、Due Diligenceおよび投資先への派遣など幅広い業務をご担当いただきます（具体的な担当業務は弊社のニーズと学生の希望をすり合わせの上最終決定することといたします）。

これまで培ってこられたビジネス経験と、ビジネススクールで身に付けた知識を、グローバルなチーム・日米のビジネスカルチャーを併せ持つ弊社でぜひ発揮しませんか。

なお、今月23日、本プログラムについてオンラインにて説明会を開催致します。本来であれば直接お話ができる機会を用意したかったのですが、まだまだ予断を許さない状況と判断いたしました。ご容赦ください。

▼MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
・Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent plus 5year of experience in the business field
・Strong passion for the VC/entrepreneurial space

▼PREFFERED REQUIREMENTS:
· +3 years of experience in top-tier technology-related companies, venture capital, management consulting firm, investment banking, private equity or corporate strategy team
· +2 years of experience as a business development manager, an engineer in product development, marketing manager or as an account executive in an ICT related company
· Bachelor degree or above in STEM
· Considering becoming an entrepreneur post-MBA and planning to/has been actively being involved in entrepreneurial activities during school

▼DESCRIPTION:
This program is a 12-week internship(Minimum 8 weeks). Summer associates will work either in Tokyo office or San Mateo Office. During the internship, summer associates will be assigned to souring, due diligence, LP relations and portfolio management, duty such as:

· Work with the investment team to conduct technical and business due diligence on prospective companies;
· Develop sufficient understanding of emerging technologies domains which are of importance to the firm from an investment perspective and its limited partner;
· Assist executive teams of portfolio companies in overcoming technological, product roadmap, and business hurdles;
· Attend industry and startup events to seek out investment opportunities;
· Develop relationships with stakeholders in the ecosystem such as startup accelerators and other venture capital funds;
· Understand the needs of limited partners and connect them to appropriate portfolio companies;
· Develop findings on technological and market trends shaping the domains of interest to limited partners and identify specific startup companies that are exploiting these trends to disrupt the respective domains;
· Present findings to corporate executives;
· Connect limited partner with startup companies of interest;
· Advise and assist limited partner on the collaboration process through such steps as contacting the right person at the startup company, designing pilot or trial agreements with the startup company, or considering other competitive startup companies that they should evaluate.
Please be noted that this internship does not necessarily provide a direct opportunity for post-MBA full-time Associate role.

▼SKILLS REQUIRED:
・Excellent understanding of the startup eco-system and lean startup methodology
・Excellent communication and writing skills to draft and present briefings, trends, and reports to executive management at startup companies and large corporations
・Strong analytical and quantitative skills to conduct technological diligence in depth on products and services developed by startup companies and compare them to competitive products by analyzing specification sheets, research publications, and patent filings
・Ability to identify key aspects of the uniqueness of intellectual property and trade secrets possessed by a startup company (across all domains of interest) and identify subject matter experts (external to the firm) who could validate the uniqueness of such intellectual property.
・Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce Customer Relationship Management tools, and Data Analysis tools, including Analysis package in MicrosoftExcel
