ローカルスクール育ちの息子の英語のアクセント

前回の記事に、シンガポールでローカルスクールに通う息子の英語のアクセントはどうですか？という内容のコメントをいただいておりました😌
いつもお読みいただき、コメントでもご質問いただきありがとうございます。
2歳9ヶ月の現在、若干シングリッシュのアクセント＆文章になっている時があるけど、まぁ受け入れられる範囲かな、、という感じです。
英語だめだめな私からすると、小さいうちから堂々と喋れるだけで100点✨だと思っています。

ちなみに息子の通っているスクールでは、イギリス英語で教えてくれています。
イギリス人の英語の先生もいて、絵本の読み聞かせなどはその先生が担当してくれているそう。
息子の英語の担任の先生はマレー系シンガポーリアンで、綺麗な英語を話す方。
中国語の先生は英語は話さない中国人の方です。
息子は文字と数字への興味が強く、1歳代でアルファベット全部覚えたのと2歳半で数字を100まで英語で言えるようになったのをそばで見ていて、私のデタラメ英語では息子に悪影響かもしれない･･･と思い、フォニックスを初めて勉強しました！(私が🤣)
その中で、子供がスクールでフォニックスをどのように学んでいるのが気になって息子のスクールの先生に色々聞いてみて分かったことをシェアさせてください🤗

ローカルスクールにも色々あって、日本人が沢山通っている日本人に人気のスクールもあるので、それぞれ色々とカラーがありそうですね。

⬇ところどころ端折ってますが、だいたいこんな感じ。
I have few question about ○○'s(息子の名前) English.
①Which phonics curriculum do you use at school?
▶Currently, we do not follow a specific phonics program, but our lesson plans are based on this phonics rhyme. https://youtu.be/6g5Wq1AVmxk?feature=shared

②Which phonics are my kids learning at school at the moment?
▶For phonics, we are currently learning letter sounds and letter recognition. For this month, we are focusing on letters 'p', and 'q'.

③Do you teach using American English pronunciation or UK English pronunciation?
▶We use UK English pronunciation.

④How do you teach sight words to students? Any specific program do you use?
▶At the moment, the students will be learning letter recognition and letter sounds, which will be reinforced again in Pre-Nursery. Sight words will only begin in N2 level.

⑤What do you expect from parents in terms of supporting English literacy skills at home?
▶We would encourage parents to converse to students in English at home. To further support language acquisition, you can include print awareness by having flashcards, coloured posters and/or English books at home. ○○ enjoys reading books in school, so you could try bringing him to the public library to look through some books with him.
You can also refer to our monthly theme update to further enhance his knowledge on the current theme.
○○ has showed a tremendous growth in his English language and is starting to converse to his teachers in simple sentences. He also demonstrates excellent letter recognition and is able to recognise certain high frequency words for the month, such as bus, car, etc. Good job ○○!
