Original Version

2013年、第4回韓国折紙コンベンションに招待いただいた際に、展示用・講習用の新作を"Trooper"の別バージョンとして設計しました。韓国に発つ前日くらいに作り始めて、飛行機の中で出来上がった、突貫建築です。
This is an alternative version of "Trooper" designed for the exibition/class  at 4th Origamni Convention of KOA (Korea Origami Association) in 2013.
I started folding this just before the departure to Korea, and finished in the airplane.

その講習の際に用いた唯一の資料がこちら。

完成のタイミングがタイミングとはいえ我ながら不親切にもほどがあると思います。あまりにも私から与える情報が不足していたので、講習当日は、講習というより「にらみ折り実習」でした。
生徒の皆さんが血眼になって、私の持ってきた小さな作例に八方からかぶりついていた事を申し訳なさと共にしばしば思い出します。
Obviously, most of the information is lacked here. But this is the only reference I have given to the students at the class.
So all students were forced to "reverse-engineer" the model although it's invited creators class, I feel so sorry now.

こんな悪事を働いたにもかかわらず、意外にもこの作品好評いただきました。しかしながらその後、作り方をお教えし直すことはおろか、私自身でもこれを再現することができませんでした。
Although it has these kind of dirty evil deals, also get popular among the fans of mine. And I counld never refold or make a tutorial for this.

2022年、その代替として作品をセルフカバーしました。
For the compensation, the model has been self-covered now in 2022.

角配置や比率を変えることなく、無駄にしていた角や襞を肩や背中の表現の強化に回すことができました。
造形の練習を兼ねて、「道具を持っていなくても映える」ポーズを与えてみましたが、結果的にはそんなに満足できませんでした。
The arrangements / references stay still, unused  flaps / pleats are reused  into the details of the shoulder/back pats. 
I also tried to shape it to be "bad-ass without any weapons are attached". I am not completely satisfied with the rusult though.
