I love to listen to Angela Aki's songs. She has restarted her music career in Japan after a long break. I was so happy to hear her news and also excited to listen to her new songs and music.
"Tegami" may be popular among most people. However, her album "LIFE" is the best music for me. Half of her songs in the album are written in English lyrics. Her English is easy to listen to, and her lyrics and music encourage me.
There are many things I would like to say about the songs. However, everybody feels different about a song. I am not saying much about them below in Japanese, especially the lyrics. If you're interested, you should just listen to her voice and songs.
I am really excited about her new songs and her new activities in Japan. I have never been to a popular singer's concert. If I have a chance, I may want to go to her concert.
この世界のあちこちに
活動再開されて、また、曲を聞いて、感激しました。アンジェラ・アキの曲は、出てきた頃から、ずっと頭から離れず、何かあると、彼女の曲を聞いています。
活動休止されてからも、過去の曲でもやっぱり訴えてくるものがあって、聞き返すことが多いです。

LIFEに収録されてる曲たちは、どれも好き。曲のLIFEも、最近また聞き返してました。うっかり泣きそうになり、出勤前に聞いちゃダメですね。別の曲にしても、歌詞が今になっても、心に響く。40代になった今だからこそ、さらに歌詞の言葉たちが、また心に残るし、気持ちを揺さぶられる。
他にも、このアルバムでは、全曲のうち、半分が英語詞の曲です。Every Woman's Song、Bop Bop Bop (Colors of Your Soul)も良いですよ。
過去の曲たちは、限られたものしか、公式youtubeにないのが残念です。活動再開を機に、また過去の名曲たちも歌ってほしい。今でも、変わらない歌声。さらに磨きがかかって、魅力も倍増。有名歌手のコンサートまで、行くことはないけど、買ったCDを飽きもせず、延々と聞こうと思えば聞ける。彼女の歌声、歌詞、曲、全部が魅力的で、力をもらえる。
輝く人も、何回聞いたかわからないくらい、聞いた。落ち込んでないと思ってても、聞いてたら、あれっ、実はストレス溜まってた？と、気がつくこともある。
アンジェラ・アキの今後の楽曲たちが、また楽しみです。
