万生集（生きる目的・理由）34 ～Manseishu／collection of meaning of life～

生きることに疑問を感じた時点で自分の命を生きていないということ。信仰心が失われていないとき、神からいただいたこのように命を生きることが命そのものであり、生きることすべてである。なぜ生きるのか？という疑問は、本来の命から切り離され、自然を逸脱してしまった自我(欲＝執着)から生じる疑問だからである。
自我という命は、この世的価値観に基づく目当てや欲をもち、その有限の目的、狭い価値観に基づく善や理想を追い求める命である。本来の命を生きているとき、本来の命の属性として自然な自我を形成し、疑問は生じない、生きることがすべてとなると思う。植物はなぜ生きるのか？と問いません。自分の命を生きる中で、自然と花を咲かせ、実をつけるだけである。それがすべてである。
神道では自我を滅して己が大いなる意志の働きそのものとなる産霊(むすび)と呼ばれる最高の境地があるとされる。神道ではもともと善良な魂と良心をもつ人間を信じるがゆえに戒律をもたない。
この世のすべては私たちの心の反映であり、幸せは幸せと感じる心の中にしかない。

Not to live our own life at the time of feeling the doubt about living. When the faith is not lost, this living given by God is life itself and all of living. Because the doubt, why we live, arises out of the self（greed=attachment）that be separated from the original life and has deviated from nature.
Life as the self has purpose and greed on the basis of this worldly values and pursue goodness and ideal on the basis of the finite purpose and narrow values. I think that we should form the natural self as the attribution of our original life and have no doubts that living is everything. Do not ask why plants live. They just bloom flowers naturally and bear fruits in living their own lives. It is everything.
It is said to be the ultimate state called 'Childbirth（Musubi）産霊' which destroy the self and to be work of their own great will in Shintoism. Shintoism has no commandments originally because it believe good soul and human with conscience.  
Everything in this world is reflection of our mind. Happiness is only in our soul feel happy.
