思いやり

kittyが怒っているところは見たことはありませんが、怒っているのかな、そのように見える後ろ姿を見せるときが、たまにございます。

彼女と僕が話をしていて、kittyに注意を十分払えていないときなどに、ふとkittyの方へ目を向けてみますと、そっぽを向いて、誰もいない方向をじっと見つめておりまして、
「I’m upset. Don’t tallk to me.」
そんな背中に見えるわけでございます。

そんなときは、
「ぱぱぱぱ、ぱぱぱぱ」
呼びかけてみますと、真珠の耳飾りの少女のように、うつくしい角度でお顔をこちらに向けてくれまして、怒った表情でもしているのだろうか、なんて変な期待を込めつつkittyを見ると、今にも閉じてしまいそうな大きな目を、懸命に開けながら、しっとりと見つめてくれるだけでございまして、当然、そこには怒りは微塵も見受けられません。

眠たいときというのは、大いに人を不機嫌にするタイミングではございますが、kittyのリラックスした性格ですと、そのタイミングさえ、その不機嫌さは皆無で、むしろ、僕たちをまだまだ気にかけていたいよ、そのように見えます。

差し出した指は舐めてくれますし、腹痛で横になっているときは側にいてくれますし、僕たちが起きているときはともに起きようとしてくれますし、挙げればきりがないほどに、思いやりの溢れた行動が目につきます。

kittyを尊敬しつつ、良いところは吸収あるのみですね。

I have never seen kitty getting mad at something, but sometimes he looks mad showing his back to us.

When my girlfriend and I talk and cannot take care of him that much, we sometimes find him showing his back to us and staring at the empty space saying like,
I’m upset. Don’t talk to me.

Then we talk to him just like,
Pa pa pa pa pa pa pa
and he turns around at the beautiful angle as Girl with a Pearl Earring does. I kind of funnily espect that he is making an angry face, but of course, there is no anger on his face and only sleepy one there. His big eyes are about to close but he is struggling not to fall asleep and watching us.

You can easily get mad when you are sleepy and get bothered by someone else, but he even seems like,
I still want to care about you.
Needless to say, his relaxed personality is amazing.

He licks my fingers when I bring mine closer, stays together when I feel sick, and tries to stay awake when we are awake. I can see loads of thoughtful behaviours of him.

I respect him and would love to absorb some of his amazing points in my life.
