November 10, 2022: Coin Laundry Near My Home (1)（家の近所のコインランドリー（1））

There is a coin laundry within a few minutes' walk of my home. It is on the corner of a crossroads and only has one parking space. So, it is not as big as other laundries and is inconvenient to come by car. But, it is always busy and sees many washing machines working with noise. Sometimes, it is too hot and humid to breathe.
It is mainly in use by the neighbours. Among them is my wife. According to her, the washing machines have dryers and are so powerful that they are best for large laundry, like sheets and blankets.
Furthermore, they are getting more and more convenient. They send a message to the user's smartphone, saying that the laundry will finish shortly. Thus, the users do not necessarily have to stay there. They return home for their other businesses. It is a favourite feature of my wife.

　ボクの家から徒歩で数分のところにコインランドリーがあります。ここは、他の大型のランドリーと違い、交通量が比較的多い交差点の角にあり、駐車場も1台分しかないため、車で来る人には向いていません。でも、盛況で、常に何台もの洗濯機が大きな音を立てて回っています。中に入ると、熱風でむっとします。ランドリーの主な利用者は、周辺の人と思われます。ボクの妻もたまに使います。大きな洗濯物は、パワフルで乾燥もしてくれるコインランドリーの洗濯機を使った方が効率的で、洗濯物もきれいに乾くらしいです。しかも、最近のランドリーの洗濯機はスマート化されていて、洗濯が終わる頃にスマホに通知きます。なので、家に戻って他の用事ができます。妻は、この機能がお気に入りのようです。
