October 5, 2021：新聞、ニュース、インターネット、個人情報 (Newspapers, News, Internet, Personal Information)

 A library near my house reopened. I’m happy to revive my habit of reading and comparing newspapers. Today, all the newspapers must focus on the new government. In particular, I look forward to reading and comparing their editorials.
 Needles to say, we can read news on the Internet. It enables us to read various news inside Japan and abroad. Among news sites on the Internet, my favourite is Jiji Press and Kyodo News Agency websites. These websites provide more information than any other newspaper site at no charge and report breaking news faster than anyone.
 IT technologies help us to obtain a large amount of information like news with incredible ease. However, we must keep in mind that we unknowingly provide our personal information on the Internet. The convenience of the Internet heavily depends on personal information that we unknowingly disclose on the Internet.

 　近所の図書館が再開した。新聞の読み比べができるのがうれしい。ちょうど、新政権が誕生したばかりなので、各紙とも大半の紙面をこれに割いていると思う。中でも、各社の見解や視点の違いが楽しみだ。
　ニュースはインターネットでも読める。インターネットの良い点は国内外を問わず、ありとあらゆるニュースを読める点である。特に、時事通信や共同通信のサイトはお気に入りだ。新聞社のサイトは有料化されているが、両社のサイトは無料で読める。また、情報量と速報の早さには驚かせる。
　IT技術のお陰で、ニュースに限らず情報は驚くほど簡単且つ大量に手に入る。その一方で、気づかないうちに自身の情報も開示していることを忘れてはならない。インターネットの便利さの背景には、自身が知らないうちに開示している情報が確実に存在する。
