I finished Dress & Dine online 1-week session
Hi there, this is Maruko.
I finished Dress & Dine online 1-week session today. So, at today's journal, I'll talk about my experience in the session.
First, what is "Dress & Dine"?
There are 4 professionals in Dress & Dine; coaching, make-up, fashion, and cooking. They give us some homework every day or every 2 days. By submitting the homework, instructors give us very beneficial advice.
Why I decided to join the session was because I've wanted to update myself by looking at myself objectively.
What did you do through the session?
The whole session was held online. I submitted the homework such as foods, my sleep condition, my coordination on that day, and the pictures of my no make up / after make up.
At the first day, one of the instructors says to participants; "It's much easier to give beneficial advice to all if you disclose yourself without any hesitation."
So, I decided to open myself and took every clothes in my closet. (Although it was ashamed at first, but very good experience because I can see everything I have right now.)
I've got the suggestions which I have never tried
First of all, after disclosing myself and instructors gave me much beneficial advice which I've never tried.
Such as; the make-up methods (don't add any eyebrow powder and making use of the original one), the bottoms with bright color for making #StayAtHome more cheerful, recipes I've never tried and so on.
I'm so excited to procure new things in my life.
Excited to see the participants' submissions.
On the last day, we had a zoom "completion ceremony" and we shared our lessons learned through the session.
One of the participants said; "I spend a busy day with my work, child care, house chores and so on. But seeing other participants' colorful and cheerful pictures, I was so excited. That's when I begin to think that I need to care for femininity."
No one forces me to be feminine, but I want to cherish my thoughts to live like "be myself".
