タンザニア旅行記#1 〜キリマンジャロ登山〜

⬛︎今回の放送概要
キリマンジャロに登ること、サファリに行くことが目的で、9/13〜11日間でタンザニアに行ってきました。今回はキリマンジャロ空港、到着初日の現地の方との触れ合いについてお話しています。

To climb mt Kilimanjaro I went to Tanzania on 9/13th for the 11 days trip.
I went there as a group of 6 with my hubby, my hubby’s co-worker and that co-wokers’s ex co-workers.
From Narita to Klimanjaro airport it takes around 30 hours and this time we had transit in Korea and Ethiopia.
When we get to the airport something that always happens once in several airports caught us. Can you guess what it is? It’s The freakin long queue for the immigration check. Believe it or not It took us two hours to get out of the airport!!!
Japanese couple was behind us and complaining why only two windows are open when other staffs seem to be doing nothing at other closed windows.
Yea They are damn right. Don’t you think this happens all the time at the airport that only few windows are open while there’s a long queue waiting for the immigration? I don’t understand Why they don’t improve the staffing and system if they’re having the same situation everyday.
Anyways at the airport we first met the guide Aroni who took us to Kilimanjaro. Accroding to him he was the guide who took Kiritani Kenta for NHK TV program and he also was a guide for あいのり which is currently broadcasted. So he knew some Japanese words like すごい 疲れた 美味しい and 水
If anyone wants to climb mt Kilimanjaro I definitely recommend him for your guide. He’s super charming, easy to talk to, and does the best customer support. I’ll tell you what kind of support he did in the following episode.
After we get to the hotel, we strolled around the city for an hour. We heard a song from the church so we looked inside and then saw ppl dancing in a line.
At the begging we’re just watching but the leader of the group invited us to join them! SO we also got inline and danced together.
It wasn’t a free style and they had choreography so we look how there’re dancing and copied their movements. That really was un unforgettable moment. I really felt the power of dance that connects people together Regardless of our language and race.
We danced till we’re drenched with sweat and thought ahh this is the perfect start of the trip. Not just seeing something but getting in touch with the locals is an irreplaceable memory that you won’t forget forever.
