Momohana (百はな)(Sumire) received a three-tiered red Maiogi (舞扇) with Ms. Yachiyo Inoue's crest.

Red: Maiko-san.
Purple: Geiko-san.  Episode 1 - 26:40  Momoko used

Ms. Yachiyo Inoue(井上八千代さん) is the real Mai Master of Japan.  She is a Living National Treasure.

Ms. Yachiyo Inoue and her daughter, Ms. Yasuko Inoue(井上安寿子さん), supported this drama. Their names are at the end of the roll.

One reason I am drawn to this drama is that first-class people are involved in the production.

This is an interview article of Ms. Yasuko Inoue.

If you want a traditional Japanese hand fan in Kyoto, please visit Onishi Tsune Shoten(大西常商店)
If you make a reservation, you can make your own hand fan and visit a traditional wooden townhouse, Kyomachiya. (京町屋)

Episode 9 - 29:00

Kiyo made boiled egg sandwiches for Momohana(Sumire).
I guess it was with boiled egg, raw chopped onion, and mayonnaise.

Egg sandwiches in Kyoto have a unique style.
A boiled egg is very popular in Japan, but a rolled omelet is used in Kyoto.
We can eat Kyoto-style egg sandwiches at a coffee shop.

This is a list of where we can eat Kyoto-style egg sandwiches.
