IT系（システム系）英会話：スケジュールの遅延

英会話教室で使用されるテキストは、一般的な会話文（道案内、ホテル、レストラン）などが多くて、IT（システム）の職場で使われる英語が少ないです。

これから、グローバルなIT人材が必要となるなか、IT系（システム系）の英会話文例を紹介していきたいと思います。

B: Yes, that is correct. Several issues have arisen and we are taking longer than planned.

A: What kind of problems?

B: First, we are behind schedule because our third-party vendor failed to meet deadlines. On top of that, our QA team spent so much time testing that the development team was unable to move forward.

A: That's a good idea. What steps would you need to take in the future to implement those improvements?

B: First, we need to improve communication between the QA team and the vendor to share detailed information about deadlines. Then, we need to clarify the roles of each team and coordinate schedules so that development and testing can proceed in parallel.

A: Okay, we need clear processes and improved communication. What resources do we need to do that?

B: We may need additional team members to help parallel the development and testing processes. We also need to spend more time on improving communication with our vendors.
