#18 The Sun also Shines [PART3. Spain] ep.VI "Eating Tiger at Sushi Bar"

There are some organizations offering events, and they organize somthing somewhere every day.

They organize such as bar crawls or travel abroad. My friends asked me to join one of their events, picnic.

We were suppose to gather in afternoon, and they asked us to bring something to drink and eat. It's held in Parque del Retiro. It was only me and my Taiwanese friend that came in time. Even the organizer hadn't showed up.

This is Spain.

30 minutes later, people got to gather finally, and chatted sitting on grass and eating snacks. I brought some sushi and Japanese soda that I bought at supermarket for the first time in Spain. It tasted as terrible and eye-catching as I expected.

Or I'd say many of them are good at speaking of nothing.

One of those whom talked to me about sushi was Dany from Venezuela who runs sushi bar. It seemed that he had started to learn some Japanese, so he spoke some words to me.

He invited me to his bar next day, and asked me to give opinion as a Japanese. I ordered miso-soup and a plate of sushi he recommended.

First of all, he served miso-soup. Positive points were for tasting miso and they put sea weed. Negative points were for putting ramen noodle and garlic. This is just ramen. By the way, garlic is called ajo in Spanish sounding like stupid in Japanese.

Sushi the protagonista, he made one called "Tiger". It was so-called California roll, but it was beyond my imagination.

It was expected to have black sea weed inside of rice, the main was salmon and avocado.

I can understand this even it's impossible to find this in Japan. The thing is inside. Deep fried. DEEP FRIED. It was crunchy deep fried. It made sashimi to something else. Its temperature made vineger smell so strong that it blew soy sause away.
