Thanks a lot of viewing our YouTube video for explaining "What's semiconductor optics?": 多数のご視聴をありがとうございます

We are now broadcasting activities of our laboratory in the Osaka City University, through the YouTube.com. The COVID-19 issues change the style of introducing university campus in Japan. The total number of 144 accesses sounds good in spite of the fact that only one person "I" composed, edited, and produced the video, taking it into account that official announcement is not done. We focus our attention on "What's semiconductor optics?". In Japan, it is easy to buy the white LED panels and pink-color LED arrays together with blue LEDs in the ordinal cities like Osaka. These parts can be available from Amazon.com or E-bay.com. Dry cells (9 - 12 V) are enough to drive these electronics parts. I believe it is good chance to learn optical function of semiconductors. The video will be broadcasted until August 20.
My research activities include time-domain THz spectroscopy. I published academic papers on GaAs single crystals and epitaxial structures, though someone says "too classical".

ほとんど公式宣伝なしでしたが，YouTube視聴回数144回(8/19時点)というのは，かなり上出来。例年だと夏休み期間中，中高生が大学を訪れるという課題が課されます。これが日本のオープンキャンパス制度。しかしながら今年度は，新型コロナウイルスの影響で，オンライン化。研究活動より「学問」の紹介に留めています。小学校から高等学校の自由研究にもってこいのネタにしています。ちゃんと自由研究にまとめるには，赤色LEDや緑色LEDの光をこの試料に当てた場合，どうなるか考察すること。日本という国は幸せな国で，大阪だと日本橋電気屋さん街で，一式購入することができます。もちろんAmazonでも可能。電源は乾電池で十分。夏休みもあともう少し。頑張ってみてください。ピンク色発光LEDアレイに対しても試してみてください。明日20日まで放映中です。
因みに研究活動のメインテーマには，THz分光も含まれています。GaAs単結晶で未だに論文を書いているのは，自分自身誇りに思っています。
