フリンジで劇場ボランティア

うん、当時はがんばった。
コミュニケーション取ろうと汗かいたよ。
その経験は、今でも生きている。

２月中旬から1か月間、アデレードフリンジのボランティアスタッフに参加した。
I participated in the Adelaide Fringe as a volunteer staff from the middle of February to the middle of March.
J'ai participé au festival Fringe d'Adélaïde en tant que volontaire de la mi-février à la mi-mars.

アデレードフリンジとは、南半球最大の文化祭でアデレード中の劇場でコメディや演劇、バンド演奏など、多岐に渡るショーを楽しめる。
The Adelaide Fringe is the largest festival in the southern hemisphere. People can enjoy many kinds of shows, such as comedy, play, music, and so on.
L'Adelaide Fringe est le plus grand festival de l'hémisphère sud. Les personnes peuvent assister à de nombreux spectacles, tels que des comédies, des pièces de théâtre, de la musique, etc. 

アデレード最大の通りであるランドルモールでは無料でマジックショーやコメディショーを見ることもできる。
We often can watch free shows at the Randle mall where is the most largest shopping area in the Fringe.
Nous pouvons souvent assister à des spectacles gratuits au Randle mall, la plus grande zone commerciale du Fringe.

僕はホールデンストリートシアターという所で客の案内やチケットのもぎり、ショーの準備・片付け等をやった。
I was working for the Holden Street Theatre. Volunteers gave guidance to audiences, checked their tickets, and prepared and put away some furniture.
Je travaillais pour le théâtre de Holden Street. Les volontaires guidaient les spectateurs, vérifiaient leurs billets, préparaient et rangeaient certains meubles. 

ボランティア特権でいくつかショーも見ることができた。
I could watch some shows freely because of the special rights.
J'ai pu regarder certaines émissions librement grâce aux droits spéciaux.

二人以上の役者が会話で物語を進めるものもあれば、ひとりで芝居をするものもあり、色んな表現方法があるのだなと感じた。
Some plays are composed of conversation by more than two actors, the others are just one person who is a storyteller.
I felt plays had a wide range of methods for expression.

ニュージーランドで活動している役者の英語は、オーストラリア人のそれとは異なり、かなり聞き取りにくかった。
I could not catch English of an actress who was from New Zealand. Because I felt she had different accents compared to Aussie English.

フリンジ期間の内、最初の方は客との受け答えにも時間を要していたが、終盤には列を作って並んで開場を待つように依頼するなど、いくらかは進歩できたかなぁ。
At the beginning of the Fringe, I took some times to communicate with audiences. On the other hand, I could ask them to wait for opening the theater in the line at the end of the Fringe. I wonder I could progress a little bit.

シアターのスタッフ、他のボランティアスタッフの仲間たちに感謝の気持ちを伝えたい。
I would like to appreciate to all staff of the theatre and volunteer staff.
Je tiens à remercier tout le personnel du théâtre et les volontaires.
