彼女鱗を卸すと、現代で言う「レアメタル」のような、貴金属のような物質が取れるため、当時は欲に駆られた者たちに乱獲され、今では絶滅危惧種となっていたそうな。
確かに、金色に光る其の姿は、とても神々しい…。
気がつけば私は、彼女の美貌という海に溺れてしまっていた。
