だと想ってたんです

まあ
答えとしては
話の要点なんですが
核心みたいな印象は

って謂うフレーズからは
出て来なかったんです

報告の時に

って謂われて

僕にはデキなかったかも

特に学生の頃は
言葉の意味を知らずに
よく叱られたなぁ

I thought you meant the gist of the story.
I thought "touch" meant to touch the surface.
I thought it meant the outline or the gist of the story.

Well, the answer is the point of the story.
I don't get the impression that it's the crux of the story.
I didn't get that impression from the phrase "the gist of the story".

I was just told, "Just tell us what you want to talk about! I was told to talk about the core of the story.
I might not have been able to talk about the crux of the story out of the blue.

Especially when I was a student, I didn't know the meaning of words.
I was often scolded for not knowing the meaning of words, but I didn't mind being scolded.
If you're not a smart person like me, you'll end up with the wrong person.

You and I are both idiots.
It's the easiest thing for a smart person to deal with.
If you're wrong about your parents, that's it...
