9つのPSSA分離株を調査。そのうち6つはblaZを保有していた。このうち5株はディスク拡散帯が感受性のブレイクポイント未満（耐性）であった。もうひとつの株は感受性の大きさの拡散帯だったが、エッジテストで耐性と判定された。これらの菌株を世界の34の臨床検査機関に送り、EUCAST（European Committee on Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing）とCLSI（Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute）で感受性評価したところ、EUCAST法ではBlaZ株の11％が、CLSI法では21％が感受性と判定された。
