However it is reckless to suddenly challenge a long guitar solo!! From my experience, I recommend that first try playing a single note riff.

From your favorite songs, from the music you usually listen to, chose a simple riff that seems to play to you, you will copy it.

Even if it seems easy, there are some riffs that are surprisingly difficult to try.

If it’s a simple riff, you will be able to play in about 10 minutes of practice.

Even if it is a little difficult, you will be able to play it in a few days of practice.

Let’s copy 2 or 3 such a riffs.

Leaning the Nuances of Playing

Next, let’s try a short guitar solo!
Choose a guitar solo that doesn’t have advanced techniques.

It’s good to think “This guitar solo can be played by myself”.

I tried the Beatles “Let It Be” guitar solo. Maybe a 16 bar solo.

The point of practice is to be aware of the nuances of the playing.

Guitar playing techniques include Slide, Hammering, Pulling, Bending and so on.

The key to improving your guitar play depends on how you can create nuances that use these techniques.

In my experience, trying a guitar solo to improve your guitar play, it’s a very efficient practice method.

Choose the song you love
