File 8. 皆様からのお問い合わせに関して

「サスーン24週間ビギナーズデイプロマコース」を受講された方々又たくさんの美容師さんから下記の2点につきお問い合わせがあり、サスーンヘッドオフィスに改めて問合わせ確認を致しました。このブログを通して皆様からのお問い合わせに、お答えしてほしいとの事で説明させて頂きます。

質問ｰ１：
サスーンのコースには、格付けや「トップ・オブ・ザ・クラス」首席という賞があるのですか？

答：　
1. SASSOONでは、現在も又過去においても、生徒の格付け制度、首席制度はありません。

2. 卒業式では、カットやカラーで一生懸命頑張った学生に報いて、励ましていますが、「クラスのトップ」という首席制度や、そのような主旨の賞状を渡すことはありません。受講した皆さんには、サスーンで学んだ経験を最大限に生かして、美容師として成功して欲しいと思っています。

3. 各生徒は個別に評価を受けます。成績表には、良い点と改善点が記載されているので生徒は成長し続けることができます。

4. サスーンにはそのような首席などというシステムはありませんので、個人にクラスのトップ・首席であることを伝えること等はありません。　　

質問ｰ２：
サスーンは、サスーンで学んだとしても、正式に雇用されていない人を承認（認められたなどと）することがありますか？

答:　
1. サスーンは、サスーン社と雇用契約を結んだ人のみを正式に認めています。元サスーンの従業員は、退職後にサスーンの名前を使用したい場合、「EX -SASSOON 」という用語を使用します。（故にサスーンから認められたと言う事はあり得ません）

2. グローバル・サスーン・サロン（世界のサスーン社のサロン）は、直営店のみであり、フランチャイズ店はありません。それ故、日本又その他の国に（サスーンに認められた美容師）というサロンは存在しません。

2. 私達サスーンは卒業生全員が美容師として成功し、楽しい人生を送ってくれることを願っています。パンデミックの中、世界中から勉強熱心な方がたくさん受講されています。日本からも、パンデミックの影響で人数が限られているにも関わらず、受講されています。この場を借りて、人数制限の為に今年ではなく来年の受講に同意して下さった方々にお詫びと感謝を申し上げます。

1. 私もサスーン社に長年働かせて頂いておりますが(現在コヴェント・ガーデン・サロン勤務)、サスーンを受講した方々が世界中で活躍しておりますのを見て、大変うれしく思います。「サスーンスクールシップ24週間ビギナーズデイプロマコース」又「テイ―チャーズ＆ダイレクターズトレーニングコース」を担当させて頂いて皆様が素晴らしく成長している姿を見ていて、サスーンの哲学が、未来永劫に受け継がれていることを実感いたします。これからもサスーンの哲学が、間違いなく未来への美容師の方々に伝わってゆく事を心情にサスーン社一丸となって邁進していく所存です。そしてお知らせがあります。

REPONSE TO INQUIRES FROM STUDENTS

We have received the following two questions from many hairdressers and individuals who have taken the Sassoon 24-week course. As requested, we raised these questions with Sassoon Head Office and would like to share their response in this blog.

Question 1: Is there a classification system or ‘top of the class’ award for Sassoon courses?  

Response:
1. Sassoon does not currently, nor has it ever had a student classification system.

2. At graduation, we reward students who have worked hard in cutting and colour to encourage them, but we don't have a "top of the class" system or hand out certificates to that effect. We want everyone that takes the course to make the most of the experience of studying at Sassoon and succeed as a hairdresser.

3. Each student is graded individually. Their grades outline positive points and areas for improvement so students can continue to develop and grow.

4. Sassoon do not tell individuals they are top of their class, as Sassoon does not have such a system.

Question 2: Does Sassoon approve people have studied at Sassoon but haven't been formally employed?

Response
1. Sassoon only formally recognises people who have signed an employment contract with Sassoon. Ex Sassoon employees use the term EX-SASSOON when they leave and wish to use the Sassoon name.

2. Global Sassoon salons are directly managed and are not franchised. Therefore, no such salons exist in Japan or other countries.

2. We at Sassoon hope that each of our graduates will have a successful and enjoyable life as a hairdresser. Amid the pandemic, many people from all over the world who are eager to study are taking the course. Students from Japan are also taking the course despite limited numbers due to the pandemic. We want to take this opportunity to apologise and thank those who agreed to take the course next year instead of this year due to these restricted numbers.
