発音は/ renˈdiʃən /です。
Renditionは旧フランス語の rendre「to give back」が語源になっていて、「所有権の譲渡」の意味で使われ始め、「翻訳、解釈」という意味が加わり、その後「演技、演奏」などの意味でも使われるようになったそうです。
