今週は音楽に関する記事を投稿しています。
昨日は現在1年ちょっと利用しているApple Musicでよく聴いているプレイリストについてまとめました。
Apple Musicで出会った音楽は様々なものがありますが、個人的に1番大きいのがイギリスのロックバンドBring Me The Horizonに出会ったことですね。
元々はKOJIMA PRODUCTIONSのゲーム『DEATH STARANDING』とのコラボ曲があったというのが始まりでした。
これまで聴いたことのない尖った曲でしたが、聴いている内に好きになりました。
Apple Musicで新しい音楽を探そうと考えた時に思い出したのがこのBring Me The Horizonで、どれを聴けばいいのか分からないのでこの『Ludens』が収録されているアルバムと『はじめてのBring Me The Horizon』のプレイリストを聴いてみました。
ということで、今回はBring Me The Horizonのアルバム『POST HUMAN : SURVIVAL HORROR』で出会った曲について。
衝撃を受けた楽曲がありました。

疾走感のあるメロディが印象的な『Kingslayer』。
元々ギターの激しめな曲は好きなのですが、驚いたのはサビに入ってから。
語彙力が乏しくて申し訳ないのですが、いわゆる「アニメ声」のような女性ボーカルがサビを歌い上げたのです。
これに引っ掛かりを覚えたまま2番に突入。
ここの歌詞はまさかの日本語でした。
もう衝撃を受けましたね。
よくタイトルを見てみると『Kingslayer(feat. BABYMETAL)』とありました。
この曲はどこかで見聞きしたことのあるBABYMETALとのコラボ曲だったのです。
衝撃のままリピート再生をして、そのままの勢いでハマりました。
めちゃくちゃかっこよくて大好きな曲です。
アルバムではこの曲の前に『Itch For The Cure (When Will We Be Free?)』という90秒ほどの曲があるのですが、『Kingslayer』のイントロのような雰囲気な曲となっています。
合わせて聴きたくなりますね。
また、YouTubeには『Kingslayer』についてBring Me The Horizon、BABYMETALそれぞれが語る映像が公開されています。
これまた必見でした。
まとめ
こんな感じで、Bring Me The Horizonの『Kingslayer』の紹介でした。
めちゃくちゃかっこよくて大好きな曲です。
サビを歌っているのがBABYMETALだったり、日本語の歌詞で歌っているのがまた最高です。
とにかく気持ちを盛り上げたい時に聴きたくなる曲ですね。
何だか頭を振りたくなります。
そしていつの日か、生で聴けたらいいですね。
