今回は2015年に発売されたBring Me The Horizonのアルバム『That's the Spirit』より、『True Friends』について。

Bring Me The Horizon『True Friends』

『True Friends』はアルバム『That's the Spirit』の4曲目。
ストリングスとギターの音が印象的な楽曲です。
ミュージックビデオも中々に印象的で、演奏シーンと映画のようなシーンが交差するものとなっています。
Bring Me The Horizonらしい独特な世界観が描かれたすごいMVです。

タイトルの『True Friends』は直訳すると「真の友」となりますが、Bring Me The Horizonのこの曲はかなり攻撃的な曲となっています。
憎しみに囚われるが如くな歌詞が非常に刺さりますし、ライブバージョンだとさらにストリングスが強調されて印象的なアレンジになっています。

歌詞の意味をちゃんと理解しないまま聴いていましたが、音だけ聴いていてもかなり好きな部類の楽曲でした。

まとめ

こんな感じで、Bring Me The Horizonの『True Friends』の紹介でした。
中々に強烈な歌詞が胸に刺さる楽曲となっています。
今回初めてミュージックビデオも見ましたがかなり強烈でした。
