どうも、けこぜろです。

昨年の1月後半から書き始めたnoteですが、あと数日で連続投稿日数が700日となります。
我ながらよく飽きもせず書き続けられていると思いますが、こういうのって1度始めたら中々やめられないんですよね。
流石に毎日書いているとネタ切れを感じていて、日に日に内容が薄くなっているのも感じています。
このクオリティの低下は自分でも悔しいですね。
ちゃんとnoteに向き合う時間を取れてないのが悪いです。

そんなネタ切れの日々は大体好きな音楽紹介で投稿日数を伸ばしています。
今回も例に漏れず、Bring Me The Horizonの『1x1』を紹介したいと思います。

no one knows what a mess i’m in
the voices in my head say i’m just being paranoid
but it’s bad for my health
how much i hate myself,

the weight,
it pulls me underneath.

Bring Me The Horizon『1x1』

『1x1』は2020年にリリースされたBring Me The HorizonのEPアルバム『POST HUMAN: SURVIVAL HORROR』の7曲目。
Nova Twinsとコラボした楽曲となっています。
『1x1』はアルバム内、Bring Me The Horizonの楽曲の中で1番好きな『Kingslayer』と、Bring Me The Horizonを初めて知った『Ludens』に挟まれた楽曲となっているので、箸休めのような印象の楽曲でした。

ですが、今回まともに歌詞を読んで衝撃を受けましたね。
『1x1』は当時の空気感をリアルに思い出させるような、非常に重く苦しい楽曲でした。
この曲がリリースされた当時の情勢を思うと中々にヘビーな気持ちになりますね。
この頃から今現在までプライベートな日記を書き続けていますが、当時の重い世界情勢はわざと書かずにいました。
今になって思うのは当時の記録としてちゃんと書いておくべきだったということですね。
目を背けず、しっかり思いを残すべきでした。

こんな感じで、Bring Me The Horizonの『1x1』の紹介でした。
非常に重い歌詞が当時の空気を思い出させてくれる楽曲です。
当時はあえて目を逸らしていた世界の現状ですが、それについて改めて目を向けるべきだったことに気づかせてくれました。
僕の音楽の興味の範囲は狭いものですが、Bring Me The Horizonとの出会いは大きかったですね。
『1x1』はそんな気持ちを思い出させてくれた楽曲でした。
