どうも、けこぜろです。

先日、気がついたらBring Me The Horizonの初期アルバム3枚がApple Musicで配信開始されていました。
今とはかなり音楽性が違うのが新鮮ですし、改めて今のBring Me The Horizonの音楽の良さを実感しています。

Bring Me The Horizonは活動に合わせてその音楽性を変化させてきたバンドです。
初期の頃は非常に激しいメタルを演奏していましたが、今ではかなりメロディアスな音楽を作っています。
どちらにも良さがありますが、初期の荒々しい音楽よりは今の音楽の方が好きですね。
聴き慣れてきたら変わるかもしれませんが。

ということで、今回はそんなBring Me The Horizonの初期のアルバムより『It Never Ends』について。
ライブアルバムで知っていた曲ですが、今の彼らの音楽に通じるものがありました。

Bring Me The Horizon『It Never Ends』

『It Never Ends』はBring Me The Horizonの3枚目のアルバム『There is a Hell Believe Me I've Seen It. There is a Heaven Let's Keep it a Secret』の3曲目。
ライブアルバムの『Live at the Royal Albert Hall』にも収録されています。

かっこいいギターのイントロに始まり、激しいボーカルが印象的な曲となっています。
サビ前のコーラスも厳かな雰囲気があっていいですし、その後の爆発的なサビも非常にかっこいいですよね。
曲を通して疾走感がありますし、サビ後のRPGで全体攻撃してきそうな神聖そうな音がまたいいですよね。
激しくてかなり好きな曲です。

Bring Me The Horizonの3枚目のアルバムに収録されていますが、今の音楽に近いところがある曲ですね。
激しい曲ではありますが、僕の中の中二心を刺激してくるような音楽ですね。
