一日一花

たまに手に取ってぱらぱらと眺める本があります。
その中のひとつが、川瀬敏郎さんの「一日一花」

花人の川瀬敏郎さんが、東日本大震災の後2011年6月から約１年間、毎日ひとつづついけた花の写真集です。

美しさにはルールがありますが、「ルールがある」というより、「ルールそのものが美」なのではないかと、この本を眺めているとそんなことを思います。
ちょっとインターネットを開くと主張や有益そうな情報ばかりで疲れますね。
そんな時、ほっとして、こうありたいなと背筋がのびる一冊です。

One Flower a Day

There are books that I occasionally pick up and flip through. One of them is "One Flower a Day" by Toshiro Kawase.

It is a collection of photos of flowers(Nageire) that Toshiro Kawase, a florist, took one by one every day for about a year from June 2011, after the Great East Japan Earthquake.

There are rules for beauty, but looking at this book, I think that the rules themselves are beauty, rather than just the existence of rules.
When I open the Internet for a moment, I get tired of all the claims and information that seems to be beneficial. At such times, this book is a book that makes me feel relieved and makes me want to be like this.
