How to steam/cook rice with Chibi-kuro chan
海外の友達で日本のお米を自分の家でも食べたい!という友達が多くてどうしたらうまく炊けるのかと思っていたところ、
美味く炊けてしかもお安い「ちびくろちゃん」というレンジ炊飯器を発見しました!
今度からこれを友達にプレセントしたいので英語の取扱説明書をこちらに書き、このページを添えてプレゼントしよう!

Step0: Prepare things
These are only three things to have Japanese steamed rice
- Japanese rice or similar one like short rice
- water
- Chibi-kuro chan!
Step1: Wash rice
Because rice is cover with non-tasty stuff, we need to wash rice.
- ⅰ. Put rice inside and pour water
- ⅱ. Wash rice with water
Try to draw circle around 20 times with your hand
- ⅲ. Put on the lid and throw away only water
- repeat ⅰ~ⅲ two or three time

Step2: Soak rice in water**
This is the one of important part.
- Put water in the right amount*
* If you put rice one cup (150g), put water 220cc.
If you put rice two cup (300g), put water 420cc.
- Soak rice in the water/hot water for proper time*
* In summer, at least 15 minutes
In winter, at least 30 minutes
It tastes better, if you soak longer like over night.
In the case you are hurry, you can use hot water.
Step3: Steam rice
- make surface of rice flat
- put on the flater lid, and make concave side up
- put on another lid, and locked fastly
- set the box in microwave, and steam it with 500W power for proper time*
* If you put rice one cup (150g), steam for 10 min.
If you put rice two cup (300g), steam for 13 min.
Step4: Additional Steam
- After steaming with microwave, have additional steam time with keeping close the lid
- It's better to keep the box inside of microwave ,because it is warmer and enough humited inside

Step5: EAT!!**
Now, you can start eating the rice!
* In the case you feel rice is hard, pls repeat Step3 and 4 in short time setting. Also put little water.
If you want to make more Japanese style, I recommend to have Miso soup beside.
Also Japanese curry and rice is awesome!
