English essay⑥

The outbreak of COVID-19 which stemmed from China has tormented millions of lives for a long time. We had been obliged to isolate ourselves from loved people such as family members, friends and lovers. Additionally, not only has this infectious disease plunged many people into psychological and financial constraints but also it has inflicted immeasurably devastating impacts on international economic picture. Given these situations, it goes without saying that COVID-19 has posed a grave threat to our lives in diverse respects.

Nevertheless, it is also true that we are capable of transforming our traditional habits in better ways. The style of remote working and communication is a case in point. Going to brick-and-mortar offices by using public transport exerts physical burdens on us. Furthermore, chatting with friends who live in remote places or foreign countries requires us to visit there, decreasing chances to meet with each other. However, thanks to the presence of online applications like zoom, it has been possible for us to both commit to our individual work and enjoy having enjoyable conversations with important people without any geographical limitations.

Another beneficial point we should bear in our mind in terms of COVID-19 is that human beings are able to learn cautionary tales from unprecedented disasters. Even if infectious viruses like COVID-19 disseminate across the globe, we have the ability to draw on accumulated medical knowledge in order to avert widespread crisis. Despite the fact that the shamble management of coronaviruses by politicians and pundits has deprived us of ideal opportunities to live sustainably greatly undermines our confidence, the effective use of these mistakes sheds light on how to cope with future international crisis.  Therefore, it is fair to say that we should attach importance to not dark sides of coronaviruses but brighter counterparts  in order for us to be able to think seriously about how to learn future lessons.
