Abstract
Britain’s Oldest Pub, which has opened since the year 793, has shut its doors - at least for the time being - due to the pandemic. Currently the pub’s owner expects that the pub would reopen at some point in the future, even the owner would be changed.
The devastated damage due to the pandemic affects about 10,000 pubs, clubs and restaurants in Britain in 2020. The amount of losing money was around ＄7.7 bilion.

Would you be interested in visiting Ye Olde Fighting Cocks if it reopens?

If the pub will reopen, I would like to visit there. I think it is an unlucky thing for us to close such a historical sight because of the pandemic.
However, I hope it will reopen at some point in the future because the building is still there.
In addition, I believe the pandemic will converge and previous daily life will come back for us.
