↑ 筥崎宮（福岡市）にて　↑ At Hakozaki Shrine (Fukuoka City)

蜂が花と間違え中へ入ってきてたまらずくしゃみをしたトランペット 
     Mistaking it for
     A flower, a bee went into
     The trumpet, which sneezed

青い筒が私の前へ降りてきて気化する私を吸い込んでいく
     A blue tube came down
     And sucked me up, while I was
     Evaporating

フライパンで顔を隠して立っている人々の列に加わってみる
     I tried joining the line
     Of people, who hid their faces
     With frying pans

土の中で鳴る音楽を人々が地面に耳を押し当てて聞く
     People press their ears
     Against the ground to listen to
     Music played in the soil

人間の数だけ空から花びらが降ってきて人の鼻の上に乗る
     As many petals fall
     From the sky as there are humans,
     Settling on their noses

虚空から紙飛行機が現れてしばらく飛んでまたかき消えた
     There appeared a paper
     Plane out of void, and vanished
     After a while

鯨たちが月のまわりとぐるぐると泳いでいるのがよく見える夜 
     That night, whales were clearly
     Seen swimming in a circle
     Around the moon

張り渡したロープの上をカタツムリが這っていくのをはらはらして見る 
     With bated breath,
     I watched a snail crawl along
     The taut, thin rope

青い粉が降ってくるのはのこぎりで誰かが空を切っているから 
     Blue powder is
     Falling, as someone is
     Sawing the sky

象の鼻にコアラがしがみついていた　足にも一匹しがみついていた 
     A koala was
     Clinging to an elephant’s trunk;
     Another to its leg

文字盤の表示がすべて7になり7時の次にまた7時になる 
     Always 7 o’clock,
     As all the figures on the clock
     Have changed into 7
