どんどんと小さくなってベビーカーに乗せられているお年寄りたち　　　　　
     The old person has got
     So small as can be laid
     In a baby buggy

三時にはにゅにゅにゅと鳴って六時にはにゅにゅにゅにゅにゅにゅと鳴るにゅにゅ時計　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　
     The “nyu nyu clock” rings
     “Nyu nyu nyu” at three o’clock and
     “Nyu nyu nyu nyu” at four

夜になると人々の顎が青白くホタルのように光っては消える　　　　　　　　
     Like a firefly,
     The chins of humans glow and
     Cease to glow at night

人々の肉体が消えあちこちに衣服や靴が横たわっている
     The bodies of humans
     Have vanished, leaving their clothes
     And shoes here and there
