【英語日記#6】駅弁Ekiben ready to eat in 7m😋

April 10,2024

I ate an ekiben on the Shinkansen.
Ekiben is a boxed lunch eaten at train stations, with various types featuring local specialties from different prefectures.
At Tokyo Station, there's a good ekiben shop called Matsuri.
There are many options, but I chose the oyster bento.
It has a string at the bottom, and when its string is pulled out, the lunch becomes hot and freshly made in just 7 minutes.
The principle is based on a chemical reaction, generating heat.
CaO(生石灰+H2O(水)->Ca(OH)2(消石灰)
 CaO+H2O =Ca(OH)2 + 65.2 kJ
The bento was very delicious. Inventors are geniuses.

First edition

I ate Ekiben in the Shinkansen.
Ekiben means station lunch and each prefectures have popular Ekiben.
There are good Ekiben shop “祭”in the Tokyo station.
There are many kinds of Ekiben and I chose Oyster lunch produced by Hiroshima prefecture.
It has string in the bottom and I draw it the lunch is hot and made up now.
The system is that
   CaO(生石灰)  +  H2O(水)  ->    Ca(OH)2 (消石灰)
   CaO  +  H2O  =  Ca(OH)2 + 65.2 kJ
Like this, The heat has been made.
The lunch was so delicious and hot.
The innovator is  genius.
