AnchorでApple podcastへの配信は自分で申請した方が早いかも？
podcastの編集・配信サービスの「Anchor」はとても便利。
代わりに各podcastプラットフォームへ登録申請をしてくれます。
ただし、Appleのpodcastは注意が必要です。
私は紆余曲折の結果、２ヶ月もかかってしまいました。
少しでも遅かったらまずAnchorに問い合わせましょう。
私が実際に辿った、一連の経緯を紹介します。
そもそもAppleは時間がかかる
Once you've submitted your podcast for distribution, it may take approximately 7-10 days for your podcast to be on Apple Podcasts.

そもそもAppleは長いよと。まぁAppleだもん、そりゃ忙しいよね。
しかし、待てども待てども登録されず。。間も無くAnchor登録から一ヶ月が経とうとしていました。
自分でApple Podcastに申請した
疑ったのはAnchorの申請がうまくいっていないことでした。
そこでiTunes Connect（App Store Connectに改名？）から自分で申請をすることにしました。
しかし、なんだかうまく進まない。
Webで書かれているようなメールは届かないし、１週間経っても何も起きない。
まぁAppleだしと待ってみるも、本当に何も起きない。
この時点で、Anchorを始めてから２ヶ月経とうとしていました。
Appleに問い合わせた
しょうがないのでAppleに直接問い合わせることに。このフォームから拙い英語を投げてみました。
At the end of 2018, I applied for a podcast.However, the status still remains unchanged.Has my application been received?It is fine if it is under review, but I am worried that I have not received it.
※Google翻訳で頑張ったレベルの英語です
すると翌日には返信が届きました。あれ、Appleさん意外と早いのね？
Your Apple ID, hoge@hoge.com, was not used to submit this podcast, and it is not specified in the <iTunes:owner> or <iTunes:summary> tags in the RSS feed.
Please submit your request from the email currently specified in the above tags, podcasts-hoge@anchor.fm
, or update the tags to reflect your email address.
つまり、AnchorのApple IDで申請されてるから、君は知らないよってことですね。
なるほど、ようやく仕組みが分かりました。自分はまずAnchorに連絡すべきだったようです。
Anchorに相談
ということで、Anchorにも拙い英語で問い合わせをしてみました。
I want to register my program with Apple's podcast.
But Anchor has not registered yet, I guessed it took a long time.
So, I applied for Apple on my own.
Then the following reply came back.
My program has been applied from Anchor and I understood that it is the reason I can not apply.
Is it possible to deal with either case?
1. Anchor advances application for my program
2. Anchor withdraws its application to Apple

すると、Anchorさんも翌日には返信をくれました。

なるほど、こちらにお任せなんですね。
Appleに報告、そして解決
ということで早速Appleに報告をすると、すぐにメールが届きました。
Your podcast has been approved. Please allow 24 hours for the changes to appear on Apple Podcasts.
最初の問い合わせからここまで僅か３日。いや、こんなに早く終わるんかい。。
もっと早く問い合わせればよかったです。
まとめ
ということで、Apple Podcast配信までの流れでした。
同じようにAnchor経由の申請で悩んでいる方には、参考になれば嬉しいです。
１つ言えるのは、時間がかかっていたらまずはAnchorに連絡することです。
解決しなければ、自分でグリップすればすぐに終わるかもしれません。
Apple podcast経由の再生数は、他プラットフォームに比べて頭１つ抜けています。
間違いなく再生数の鍵を握っているので、早いうちに登録を終えてしまいましょう。
