ミンサガ：ダークとアルドラ

ロマンシングサガ・ミンストレルソングは、ラスボスのサルーインを倒して終わり、ではありません。ラスボスを倒した後に、挑戦できるイベントが多数あります。ダークとアルドラのイベントも、その一つです。

ダークは、クジャラートで過去に暗躍していた暗殺者ギルドの後継者として、儀式をしていたときに記憶喪失になりました。暗殺者たちからは見捨てられて、各地を放浪することになります。

復活した暗殺者ギルドは、かつての暗殺者ギルドとは異なり、サルーインの部下であるミニオンがつくった、ミニオンの操り人形でした。その暗殺者たちのリーダーになる予定だったダークは、冥府（死後の世界）を管理する神、デスから、約1000年前に死んだアルドラという女性の記憶と魂を注入されていたのです。

アルドラは、1000年前にサルーインを封印した伝説の英雄、ミルザの戦友である女性魔術師でした。そして、アルドラはミルザに切ない片想いをしていたのでした。サルーインとの最終決戦を控えるなか、自己中心的な恋愛に溺れるわけにもいかず、アルドラは人生の最後まで想いを告げることができませんでした。通常、ミンサガの世界では人間が亡くなると、記憶も魂も消滅し、また別の人間として人生を歩むことになるのですが、アルドラはミルザへの想いが強すぎて、冥府にある煉獄という場所に魂と記憶が封じ込められていました。

ダークにアルドラの記憶と魂が注入された結果、ダークの記憶と干渉しあって、ダークは記憶喪失になります。8人の主人公たちは、ダークを仲間にして、育成の仕方によってダークの記憶かアルドラの記憶、どちらかを取り戻すことになります。ミンサガでは、術を使っていると知力が育成され、武器を使っていると腕力や器用さが育成されるのです。

私は、最初にダークを仲間にしたとき、武器ばかり使わせていたせいで、器用さのレベルが先に上昇してしまい、ダーク本来の記憶を取り戻し、アサシンになってしまいました。ミンサガは、次回のプレイで各キャラの能力値を継承することができますが、それをやるとまた、ダークはダークのままで、アルドラの記憶を取り戻すことはありません。そのため、私は一生懸命育てた、各キャラクターの能力値を一度リセットしてプレイせざるをえなくなりました。（幸いなことに、能力値の今までの最大値は、ゲームアプリに保存されていたようです。アルドラを仲間にしたあとで「能力値を引き継ぐ」にフラグをたてると、過去の一番強かったときの能力値に戻りました）

アルドラは、貧しい町に育った女性のようです。南エスタミルは貧しい人が住む街なのですが、そこで盗賊に襲われたときに、過去の自分の思いを吐露します。また、育ちが悪かったせいか、彼女の一人称は「俺」です。そのため、ダークが記憶を少しずつ取り戻して、何か発言したとき、それがダーク（男性）の記憶なのか、アルドラ（女性）の記憶なのか、最初は判別できませんでした。今は、「俺には思い人（好きな人）がいた」というセリフは、アルドラの記憶であったとわかります。

英雄ミルザは、サルーインを倒しましたが、サルーインが最後に放った攻撃でミルザも命を落としました。その後、ミルザはエロールによって天界に引きあげられ、神の一人となりました。そのため、アルドラは神に恋をすることは許されず、永遠に彼女の想いは遂げられないことになってしまいました。アルドラの物語は、悲しい恋の物語なのです。

Romancing Saga Minstrel Song doesn't end with defeating the final boss, Saluin. There are many events that you can challenge after defeating the final boss. The events of Dark and Aldra are one of them.

Dirk lost his memory while performing a ritual to become the successor to an assassins guild that had been working behind the scenes in Gujarat. He is abandoned by the assassins and ends up wandering all over the place.

The revived Assassin's Guild is different from the old Assassins' Guild; it is a minion puppet created by Saluin's subordinate minions. Dark, who was scheduled to become the leader of the assassins, was injected with the memories and soul of a woman named Aldra who died about 1000 years ago from Death, the god who controls the underworld (the afterlife).

Aldra was a female magician who was a comrade of Mirza, the legendary hero who sealed Saluin 1000 years ago. And Aldra had a deep unrequited love for Mirza. As her final battle with Saluin approaches, Aldora cannot afford to be drowned in her selfish love, and is unable to tell her feelings until the end of her life. Normally, in the world of Minsaga, when a human dies, her memories and soul disappear, and she begins her life as a different person, but Aldra's feelings for Mirza are so strong that she is sent to purgatory in the underworld. Her soul and memories were sealed away in that place.

As a result of Aldra's memories and soul being injected into Dark, they interfere with Dark's memories, causing Dark to lose his memory. The eight main characters will befriend Dark and, depending on how they are raised, will regain either Dark's memory or Aldra's memory. In Minsaga, when you use techniques, you develop your intellect, and when you use weapons, you develop your strength and dexterity.

When I first recruited Dark, I made him use weapons, so his dexterity level increased first, and he regained his original memories and became an assassin. Minsaga allows you to inherit each character's ability values the next time you play, but if you do that, Dark will remain Dark again and will not regain Aldra's memories. As a result, I had no choice but to reset the ability values of each character, which I had worked hard to develop, before playing. 

Fortunately, it seems that the previous maximum value of ability values was saved in the game app. After recruiting Aldra, if you flag "Inherit ability values", you can save the previous maximum value. (Ability values returned to when they were strong)

Aldra seems like a woman who grew up in a poor town. South Estamil is a town where poor people live, and when she is attacked by bandits there, she reveals her thoughts about her past. She also speaks in the first person as ``Ore'', perhaps because of her poor upbringing. Therefore, when Dark gradually regained his memories and said something, it was difficult to tell at first whether it was Dark's (male) memory or Aldra's (female) memory. I now know that the line "I had someone I loved" was Aldra's memory.

The hero Mirza defeated Saluin, but Mirza also lost his life due to Saluin's final attack. Mirza was then taken up to heaven by Erol and became one of the gods. As a result, Aldra was not allowed to fall in love with God, and her dreams would never be fulfilled. Aldra's story is a tragic love story.
