人間が蟻の体格にもしもなったら　　　【In English】　読破目安5分で和訳付き

I'm curious that if human were as small as insect other creature,human would weeded out.
I've always thought this way.
Even though we are said to be the strongest creature in this world, the property of this is mainly caused by inteligence and sociability of us.
I guess the physical potential of human, such as jumping and hunting ability is inferior to other creature, right?
These things in mind, I will think if human were as small as ant today.
Before inference of this, I want to explain why I chose the example of ant.
Actually, ant is known as the insect having sociability, which is alike human.
I knew there being caste system among ants that I thought it effective to give an example of this.
Saying detail, the caste is devided into three part : worker, soldier and queen.
It is hard to think that an ant with no direct blood relationship help each other, but in fact, they are all familiy connecting with each other through blood. Helping the queen bring up her child connects to leaving other caste's gene steadily.
I'll go back to the topic.
If we were as small as ant, we wouldn't be able to live in the same area longer because we have to run away from other creature such as mantis and frog.
The small weight of us must exposed to wind all the time.
Now that we have enough weight, and are able to be durable against gravity, but is it really possible even after getting smaller.
The most considered thing is exactly what our size.
Next, I will infer based on different feature between human and other creature.
Next, I will infer based on biological difference between human and other creature.
First of all, our skin is the big problem.
Our skin helps us prevent the germs from invading, but don't you think it is useless against physical attack.
If we were attacked with knife, we would be dead.
On the other hand, the skin of ant is stronger made with strong protain.Even if they are stepped on, they are Ok.
Concluding these, the ant is overwheliming us in both aspects of pysicality and other competence.
So, to survive in the situation, we may have to improve our sociability and intelligence.
Our IQ would be increased in such a extreme condition.
I think the IQ of ant is much higher than human.

もし人間が他の昆虫のように小さかったら、人間は淘汰されてしまうのではないだろうか。
私はいつもこう考えている。
人間はこの世で最も強い生物だと言われているが、その性質は主に人間の知性と社交性に起因している。
ジャンプ力や狩猟能力といった身体的なポテンシャルは、他の生物より劣っているのではないだろうか。
そんなことを考えながら、もし今の人間がアリのように小さかったら......と考えてみる。
その推論の前に、なぜアリの例を選んだのかを説明したい。
実は、アリは人間に似た社交性を持つ昆虫として知られている。
アリにはカースト制度があることも知っていたので、その例を挙げるのは効果的だと考えた。
細かく言えば、カーストは働きアリ、兵アリ、女王アリの3つに分かれている。
直接的な血縁関係のないアリ同士が助け合うとは考えにくいが、実はみんな血のつながった家族なのだ。女王の子育てを手伝うことは、他のカーストの遺伝子を着実に残すことにつながる。
話を戻そう。
もし私たちがアリのように小さかったら、カマキリやカエルなどの他の生物から逃げなければならないので、同じ場所に長く住むことはできないだろう。
小さな体重の私たちは、常に風にさらされていなければならない。
今は十分な重さがあり、重力にも耐えられるようになったが、小さくなっても本当に可能なのだろうか。
最も需要なことは私たちの大きさである。
次に、人間と他の生物との生物学的な違いから推論する。
まず、皮膚が大きな問題である。
皮膚は病原菌の侵入を防ぐのに役立っているが、物理的な攻撃に対しては役に立たないと思わないか。
ナイフで襲われたら、私たちは死んでしまうだろう。
一方、アリの皮膚は強いタンパク質でできており、踏まれても大丈夫なのだ。
これらを総合すると、アリの方が精神面でも能力面でも私たちを圧倒していることになる。
だから、この状況で生き残るためには、私たちは社交性と知性を向上させなければならないかもしれない。
このような極限状態では、IQは向上するだろう。
私は、アリのIQは人間よりはるかに高いと思う。
