HAPPY THANKS GIVING DAY
みなさんはどのように過ごすのでしょうか。
我が家は毎年、パレードをテレビで見たり、実際に見物にいったりするのが恒例でした。
ニューヨーク名物、94回目となるMacy’s提供のThanksgiving Day Paradeは新型コロナウイルス感染拡大防止として、参加者の安全対策を施して、見物客が集まるのを避けるために、通常の2.5マイルの行進は行ないません。Macy’s前でのショーケースのテレビ中継を楽しむように呼び掛けています。
午前9時（EST）からNBCが中継します。
ケーブルテレビ契約がなくても、パレード自体はMacy'sのウェブサイトや通信会社のVerizonがYoutubeでライブ配信されます
NBCの中継ではブロードウェイや劇場の出演者によるパフォーマンスが見られます。

実は昨日、近くを歩いたので、Macy’sの前の様子を見てきました。
Macy’sはパレード以外にも、この時期は1874年(*3)から続いているショーウインドウやきらびやかな内装の飾りも人気を集めますが、今年のテーマは「Thank You, New York! 」。なんか読みながら、いろいろ思い出しました。
全文、つけておきます。
Thank you, New York!
Dear New York,
To those of you fighting on the front lines to keep us healthy. To the ones keeping our city safe. To the ones who are unapologetic in their pursuit for a fair and equal world.
To the New Yorkers who stayed when thousands did not, and to those who have returned. To the visitors form all over the world who are safely enjoying our great city at its most magical time of year.
To all of you who stand in front of us, we thank you for your resilience. For doing your part. We thank you for your courage and your spirit which have lifted us all.
To our fellow New Yorkers, thank you. Here’s to a holiday season filled with joy, and a healthy & happy New Year.

「撮影現場の現状」 with 村松志緒
ニューヨークで俳優として活動している村松志緒さんに、当地でも再開したCM撮影の現場の様子を聞きました。
撮影に臨む前にはコロナのラピッド検査を行い、現場でも６フィートを保つために注意を呼びかける人がいるのがニューノーマル。検査の実施状況や安全確保のために行われていること、逆になくなったこと、新しい撮影技術について話しています。
