福岡音楽研究所、新作「Round About Midnight」リリース

異常なまでにリリース間隔が短いので、辟易される方もいらっしゃいましょうが、良い効果を生むと期待して新作をリリースします。（そして、予想を遥かに下回る具合に、売れていません。）

タイトルは「Round About Midnight」。この曲名だと、マイルス・デイヴィスの演奏による有名曲を意識される方も予想できますが、マイルスの曲が（少なくとも私には）深夜の孤独な都会人をイメージさせるのに対して、今作のテーマは「真夜中の天体運行」という、宇宙的なスケールのものです。

具体的に、天体運行とは何を指すのかは、意図的なミスティフィカシオンによって伏せたままにしておきますが、ジャケットのデザインからもわかるように、天体運行とは回転運動を意味します。小西康陽曰く「世界は1分間に45回転で廻っている」。ここで言う45回転とは、もちろんレコードプレーヤーのことです。今作の回転運動は、やはりターンテーブルの回転を指していることのみは触れておきます。

各楽器の音、シンセ、ピアノ、リズム、ベース、ギター。あなたの体のスイングが、極めて静かな瞬間の連続を感じていただけると、これ以上ない幸いです。

Fukuoka Music Institute releases single "Round About Midnight"

Since the release interval is unusually short, some people may be overwhelmed, but we will release a new work in the hope that it will produce a good effect. (And it's not selling well, far below expectations.)

The title is "Round About Midnight". With this song title, you can expect people to be aware of the famous song played by Miles Davis, but while Miles' song (at least to me) reminds me of a lonely urban person at midnight, this work The theme of is "Midnight celestial movement", which is on a cosmic scale.

Specifically, what is meant by celestial movement is left prone by intentional misty fiction, but as you can see from the jacket design, celestial movement means rotational movement. According to Yasuharu Konishi, "The world rotates at 45 revolutions per minute." The 45 rpm here is, of course, a record player. I will only mention that the rotational movement of this work still refers to the rotation of the turntable.

Sounds of each instrument, synths, pianos, rhythms, basses, guitars. We hope that your body swing will feel a series of extremely quiet moments.
